MOVE THE NEEDLE (OTE: $63,000 – $74,000+)

In 2010, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport set a land speed record, for production vehicles, travelling 430.98 km/h.

In 2017, the Koenigsegg Agera RS did even better … clocking in at 447.23km/h.

And, in October 2020 … SSC Tuatara Hyper-car set a new Guinness Record when the needle on its speedometer topped out at an unbelievable 508.72 km/h.

To put that in perspective, (if it were logistically possible) … at that speed, you could travel from Toronto to Montreal – in just over 1 hour!

What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s role?
Not much, really.

That said, our automotive industry client is looking for a Sales Executive who can ‘move the needle’, when it comes to their GTA territory.

SMASH (OTE: $150,000 – $160,000+)

The most traditional of styles when it comes to piñatas … is the star with seven points?
Each cone represents one of the 7 Deadly Sins.

And, while the objective is to smash the hell out of the piñata to get the candy … the game is filled with all kinds of symbolism.

The blindfolded player with the stick represents faith, trying to destroy evil … (faith is blind, right)?

The piñata symbolizes hope (hanging over our heads … looking up to the heavens with anticipation).

Finally, the smashed piñata represents charity … (as it rains down with candy for everyone)!

What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s role?
Not much, really.

That said … our client is looking for a talented Strategic Account Executive (Industrial) to join their team … and “smash” their sales targets!

SUMMARY

Match and Fable has partnered with a nationally renowned … and highly respected logo.

A billion-dollar+ Canadian company … with a focus on flexibility and responsiveness in their solutions.

SPIN ($65,000 – $75,000+)

Plate spinning is considered a ‘circus manipulation art’ where a person spins numerous plates atop long poles … without letting them crash to the ground.

The process requires flawless concentration and calculated movement!

The Guinness World Record for plate spinning is held by David Spathaky.
In 1996, in Bangkok … with his assistant Debbie Woolley handing him plates, Spathaky rested plates on dowels and, with a flick of his wrists … sent them spinning for minutes at a time.

He was able to reach a grand total of 108 plates, before his record-breaking feat came to an end!

What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?
Nothing really.

That said … our client is looking for a Plate Spinner of their own (so to speak)!

THE FIX ($70,000 – $100,000)

On October 9, 1919, (after having won winning Games 6 and 7) … the Chicago White Sox faced off against the Cincinnati Reds, in a “must-win” 8th game of the World Series.

The White Sox were widely considered one of the best baseball teams in the sports’ history.
But they lost … 10-5.

Long story short, 8 members of the team were accused of ‘fixing’ the series, in exchange for money.

The players were acquitted in their 1921 trial, but the Commissioner of the MLB issued a life-time ban from professional baseball – to all of them.

Born in Croatia in 1929 … Frane Selak has been labeled “the world’s luckiest, unluckiest man”.

1962: A train Frane was riding in went off the tracks, crashing into a river. 17 people died – Frane broke his arm.

1963: Shortly before landing (on a flight from Zagreb to Rijeka), Frane and a flight attendant were sucked out of a malfunctioning plane door. 19 people died – Frane landed on a haystack!

1966: A bus Frane was riding in crashed into an icy river. 4 passengers died. – Frane managed to swim to shore.

1970: While driving his car … it caught fire. Frane escaped before the fuel tank blew up.

1973: A faulty fuel pump caused flames to shoot through the vents of his car – Frane’s hair got a little burnt.

1995: During a leisurely stroll in Zagreb, Frane was hit by a bus. He suffered minor injuries.

THE “SECRET RECIPE” ROLE ($80,000 – $90,000)

SecretRecipe.png

For years, Harland Sanders carried the formula to his fried chicken tucked carefully away in the safest place he could think of … his head. And, he kept the recipe for the spice mixture … in his car’s glove compartment!

Today, that recipe is safely locked away in a vault in Louisville, Kentucky.
Even now, only a handful of people know the full details of the multi-million-dollar formula and it’s protected by some elaborate security precautions.

For instance, one vendor blends part of the formula while another blends the rest – neither has the complete recipe!

What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?

THE ‘SUPERNOVA’ ROLE (OTE: $162,500)
