SUMMARY:

Our client is a dominant player in their space and they have asked us to find a solution sales person to sell their fraud detection software into Canadian banks … as well as the insurance and retail industries.

Their solution has already been adopted by some of the world’s largest financial institutions … and the earning potential of this role is both legitimate … and absolutely mind-blowing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and manage a pipeline via a strategic process and attain revenue targets
  • Create strategic penetration plans (including a solid sales pipeline), to build new, profitable business
  • Work with company partners to tactically “land and expand” into the financial, insurance and retail markets
  • Manage full cycle of the business deal – from negotiation to close
  • Routinely exceed sales quotas


REQUIREMENTS: 

  • MUST: Experience selling large, enterprise level software solutions to financial, insurance & retail industry
  • MUST: Experience in fraud detection or identity authentication
  • MUST: Experience working for a start-up or early stage company
  • MUST: Demonstrated track record of elevated sales performance and target achievement
  • MUST: A strong network and sound knowledge of the financial industry
  • NOT A MUST … BUT REALLY NICE: Early Stage software company experience


REMUNERATION:

BASE SALARY: $160,000 – $190,000
ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $150,000 (uncapped)

Mirko Filipovic was born September 1974 in Privlaka, Croatia.

You’ll be selling software that allows K-12 educational institutions to seamlessly access the critical budgetary information needed to make the smartest decisions!

This sales role is NOT transactional! It requires a true relationship builder in the K-12 education market.
An individual with a strong sales process, who isn’t afraid to prospect to build a strong funnel can do amazingly well!

We’re looking for a professional with experience selling any type software -or- someone with intimate knowledge of the K-12 education space.
Needless to say … having both would catapult you to the front of the line!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Crush sales targets by relentlessly targeting new opportunities in the K-12 education space to grow revenue through new client acquisition
Genuinely understand each target’s unique needs and how the software solution will meet those needs

Reporting to the VP, Sales, the BDM will call on both established and new target clientele across the GTA.

With a track record of new client acquisition success, the BDM will swiftly qualify prospects and proficiently move them through a repeatable sales process to close.

You must have the capacity to understand your client’s business needs (across a broad range of vertical industry segments) … while managing a moderately complex sales process through qualification, justification, proposal creation and selling solutions that meet client needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and action a sales strategy to penetrate territory / market and secure new business
  • Focus on new accounts / projects to increase sales and diversification across markets
  • Responsible for heading up expansion of offerings into new markets and among existing clientele
  • Maintain a high level of targeted sales activity – to build and maintain a strong pipeline
  • Become an expert with respect to the company’s products and services
  • Work with clients, technology teams, operations and management to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Utilize CRM to track, monitor and report on activities and pipeline


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years’ full cycle, B2B sales experience … in a ‘solution sales’, hunter role
  • 2+ years’ experience selling software solutions
  • Experience identifying, calling on and presenting to senior level decision makers
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and elite time management skills
  • Experience in hardware sales – (ie; production / workgroup / desktop scanners
  • Experience in the microfilm industry would be beneficial (but not mandatory)
  • Experience selling document capture software such as; Kofax, Datacap, Captiva or Kodak
