THE ‘BREAK THE BANK’ ROLE (OTE: $92,000 – $105,000+)

BREAK THE BANK

In 1986 … Valerio Viccei fled Italy (as he was wanted for committing 50 armed robberies) and arrived in London England.

The following year, he and accomplice, Parvez Latif walked into the KSDC and asked to rent a safe deposit box.

Once inside the vault, the men pulled out their pistols and overpowered the bank manager and his guards.

They hung a ‘closed’ sign on the front door while ushering a few more accomplices into the bank.

Ransacking the vault … the thieves fled with an estimated £60 million (nearly $200 million USD by today’s standards).  Viccei then proceeded to hop on a plane headed for South America … with his riches in tow!

While in South America, Viccei began to pine over the Ferrari Testarossa he had left behind in England and decided to return and make arrangements to ship it to his new home.

Needless to say … not the best idea he ever had.

Upon returning to the UK, he was identified … captured … arrested … and sentenced to 22 years in jail!

Long story short … he was deported to Italy in 1992 to serve out the rest of his sentence.

In April 2000 … while on a day pass from prison … he was killed in a gunfight with police.

Well, nothing really.

That said, Bon Jovi’s 1988 album “New Jersey” does contain a song titled … ‘I’ll Be There for You’.

And … it just so happens our client is looking for a Solutions Team Specialist who can ‘be there’ for their clients when it comes to senior escalations to the Office of the President!

POSITION:                        OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT, SOLUTIONS TEAM SPECIALIST

SUMMARY:

As a team member of the Office of the President, you will handle unique (at times ‘extreme’) client escalations in a timely manner.

The OOTP Solutions Team provides business support to the organization 7 days/week, 365 days per year.

Based from any of their satellite offices, across Ontario and reporting directly to the Manager of OOTP, you will be responsible for handling the inbound escalations via multiple mediums, such as: telephone, email, fax, social media feed.

You’ll need to think “outside the box” and deliver timely resolutions ensuring the client’s voice is heard!

We’re looking for a candidate who loves a challenge and enjoys maneuvering through sticky situations to deliver a positive and mutually agreeable outcome!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of all escalations presented to the Executive
  • Full ownership with complete authority to represent the President’s Office while dealing with escalated customer issues – as the final point of contact
  • Root Cause analysis of Executive escalations, Social Media, Better Business Bureau and Ministry complaints
  • Recommendations for process improvement, policy change or new ideas to improve customer experience
  • Define, measure and report on key learnings
  • Manage team to track and respond to all positive posts on social media platforms
  • Identify trending, feedback to field and measure and report on daily metrics and KPI’s

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service role (focus on high profile escalations is a huge bonus)
  • Available to work rotation shifts (days, evenings, weekends) and be on call (social media monitoring)
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation
  • Exceptional customer service skills (with a strong track record of ownership, accountability and follow-up)
  • Solid problem solving and trouble shooting abilities (strong attention to detail and accuracy)
  • Strong capability and understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office


REMUNERATION:

BASE SALARY: $45,000 – $50,000
BONUS: $5,000
ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $50,000 – $55,000

THE ‘HIGH JUMP’ (WMS DEVELOPER / ANALYST) ROLE ($85,000 – $100,000)

Ever heard of Javier Sotomayor?
Probably not.
But, pay attention here … and you can drop a little knowledge one day … if a game of trivia ever goes down this path!

Born in Cuba on October 13, 1967 … Javier Sotomayer is a retired Track and Field athlete.

On July 27, 1993 … in Salamanca, Spain … Javier set a world record for the high jump when he successfully cleared the bar at an unprecedented height of 2.45m (8 feet and ½ inches).

Sotomayor is the only person to have ever cleared eight feet … and 25 years later … the record still stands!

What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s current role?

That said … our IT HeadHunter Penny Alalouf is looking for a Developer / Analyst with HighJump (or similar Tier 1 WMS) experience.

And don’t worry … you won’t need to jump over anything!

SUMMARY:

The Developer/Analyst is a crucial part of the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) team.

In this role … you’ll develop and implement internal and external HighJump Warehouse Application solutions.

The primary focus of this role will be to analyze, plan, develop and maintain implementation projects and process enhancements atop of the HighJump Warehouse Application.

POSITION:                 DEVELOPER / ANALYST
REPORTING TO:      IT DIRECTOR
INDUSTRY:               3PL / WAREHOUSING / LOGISTICS


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, customize and implement HighJump Warehouse Application solutions
  • Issue resolution and implementation of change requests
  • Provide development specifications and estimates
  • Test and support the QA process … including Document changes
  • Work with Business Analysts to provide solutions for business processes
  • Facilitate resolution identification and solution implementation


REQUIREMENTS:

  • PREFER: University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • PREFERRED: 3+ years’ experience using HighJump WA solution
  • WILL CONSIDER: a candidate with experience in other Tier 1 WMS solutions
  • 3 years’ experience in development skills in C#, XML and web technologies
  • 3 years’ experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (or greater)
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and modules
  • Strong working knowledge of EDI systems and their specifications
  • Strong working knowledge of RF systems and devices

BASE SALARY: $85,000 – $100,000
