Did you know … if you removed all the blood vessels from an average adult and laid them out in a long line, that line would stretch to be nearly 100,000 kilometers long?

And … get this … that line would circle around the world – 2.5 times!

What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role? – nothing at all!

That said … Kelly Meadows is looking for an RN for an infusion clinic in Prince George … and that RN needs to know a thing or two about veins!



Working with the healthcare team, the RN will lead, oversee and support the infusion clinic. This position provides professional nursing care to individuals including the intravenous or injection administration of biologics or other specialty pharmaceutical products and promotes patient health by completing health reviews prior to treatment, reviews patient files and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members as required, with the end goal of providing medical therapies or self-administration teaching to patients in an ambulatory setting as well as in patient homes or alternate location as required.


  • Assessing health status of patients using a pre-screening process that covers contraindications, objective and subjective data, to determine eligibility in receiving medical therapies.
  • Insertion of peripheral intravenous or establishing access via central lines using sterile technique and best practices from the standards and practices of the college.
  • Studying patient files and prior post-administration records to understand patient’s history.
  • Handling and reconstituting biologic or oncology medication as per guidelines.
  • Identifying patient care requirements; educating and providing counseling.
  • Promoting patient independence; teaching patients to understand their condition and medication.
  • Documenting patient care services and managing records.
  • Following patient specific medical directives for administration and treatment of adverse events.
  • Reporting adverse events in accordance with manufacturer specific requirements, Health Canada policy.
  • Providing medical therapy monitoring and post administration observation and assessment.
  • Maintaining continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Ensuring proper operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Maintaining clinic medical and stationary supply levels.
  • Maintaining up-to-date professional and technical knowledge by completing/attending educational workshops. Maintaining a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.


  • 2-year Nursing Diploma / Bachelors of Science in Nursing
  • 3 + years of critical care experience (ER, ICU or ambulatory care)
  • Good standing with a regulatory nursing college and body in British Columbia
  • Current CPR and ACLS up to date
  • Excellent communication skills ability to work independently in a clinic setting

SALARY: $42.00/hour
OTHER: part-time (1 or 2 days to start). May turn into full-time – must be flexible to work evenings and weekends. Paid vacation and no benefits for part-time employees

THE ‘JOAN OF ARC’ ROLE ($100,000 – $115,000 + BONUS)


Joan was born to a peasant family … and at the age of 12, she began to have ‘visions’.
In one particular vision … the voice of God instructed her to renew the French nation … so she travelled to the uncrowned Dauphin of France and advised him to reclaim his French throne and overthrow the English.

Long story short, in 1431 … 17 year-old Joan mounted a stallion and led her French troops at the siege of Orleans … earning notoriety when the siege was lifted after 9 days … and leading to Charles VII ascension to the throne!

If the story ended there … it would be one of the best UnderDog stories ever!
However, after being captured in battle, Joan was tried for heresy … and burned at the stake!

(That ending kinda puts a damper on the story … eh)?

So … what does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?
Not much, really!

That said … our client is looking for an inspired individual to join their team in a Pharmacy Manager role.



The Pharmacy Manager will report directly to the Director of Specialty Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Manager is an integral member of the pharmacy team and works with the Senior Manager and the Director in the overall compliance, operations, management, and planning of pharmacy services. A significant role of the Pharmacy Manager is the inter-departmental collaboration on projects with Specialty Services, Consulting, Patient Support Programs and Distribution.


  • Ensure pharmacy operations are conducted in accordance with College of Pharmacists regulations and company policies.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants in the day to day operation of the Specialty Pharmacy
  • Assist in operational activities to optimize pharmacy processes
  • Assist in the development and execution of pharmacy and company business plans
  • Ensure proper accounting on billing and reconciliation
  • Collaborate and liaise with Distribution, Patient Programs, Clinics and Nursing divisions
  • Assist with the implementation of new projects to drive and support the Specialty pharmacy Business
  • Establish and maintain relations with internal and external clients, stakeholders and all staff on site
  • Oversee all daily pharmacy operations and activities


  • Successful completion of a B.Sc. Pharmacy degree
  • Current registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
  • 3-5+ years of progressive operation and managerial experience within retail, healthcare, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Strong business acumen and an interest to working in an innovative practice
  • Ability to lead and manage the growing pharmacy team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills


SALARY: $100,000 -$115,000 / YEAR + BONUS

Our client is the industry leader in specialty pharmaceutical care.  They’ve asked another industry leader (Match and Fable’s Kelly Meadows) to assist them in finding a full-time Regulated Pharmacy Technician (certified in a clinical specialty and long-term care setting).

As part of a collaborative team, this role works alongside the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services.

You will be responsible to assist pharmacists in dispensing and checking medications and perform other technical duties.


  • Assist staff Pharmacists to prepare, package and distribute patient prescriptions, (including blister packs)
  • Maintain patient and drug information files
  • Ensure all prescriptions are complete and authentic
  • Gather and ensure completeness of information
  • Confirm accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for release
  • Complete final check of prepared prescriptions
  • Other duties as assigned within the Pharmacy


  • Accreditation as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician in good standing and adherence to the Standards of Practice with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
  • Strong communication skills written and spoken
  • Must have strong technical skills and ability to work under minimal supervision and to manage competing priorities/deadlines
  • Experience with Kroll an asset in a high-volume script dispensary


HOURLY WAGE: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour

THE ‘JOHNNY CASH’ ROLE (OTE: $100,000 – $150,000)

Johnny Cash - Black & White
One of seven children … J.R. Cash was born in Arkansas on February 26, 1932 and grew up on the family farm.

ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $10,000 – $50,000 (based on achieving management objectives)
