Match and Fable’s client has asked us to find a motivated and no-nonsense coordinator. The position will collaborate with key personnel across all departments to help keep things moving … as they continue to grow their success in Canada.

THE ‘MIRACLE’ ROLE (OTE: $175,000 – $185,000+)


Herbert Paul Brooks Jr. was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota in 1937 and had a moderately successful career as a hockey player. However, once he hung up his skates and took a position behind the bench … his name would be etched into hockey history!

On February 22, 1980 … in Lake Placid, New York, the hockey team Brooks had pieced together from a patchwork of American college and other amateur players took to the ice in the semi-final game … against an all-star line up from the Soviet Union.

This Director, Operations is ultimately responsible for the operation of 4 manufacturing plants (3 in Ontario and 1 in Quebec. Our client is looking for a ‘hands-on” leader … not an arm chair quarterback!

The mandate is simple:
Ensure all 4 Plants operate at maximum efficiency & productivity, while adhering to all laws, protection of employees’ safety and product safety.



  • Provide operational guidance to Plant Managers and staff – across 4 manufacturing facilities
  • Work with Plant Managers, Supervisors, Engineering and Suppliers to reduce operational cost, utilities and raw materials

  • Conduct annual performance reviews with the Plant Managers and their supervising staff

Robert Liston was born in Scotland in 1794 and came to be admired as a renowned amputation surgeon.
At that time in history … the use of anesthesia wasn’t wide-spread… and as such, speedy surgeries were critical!

As the story goes … one fateful day, Liston was scheduled to amputate a patient’s leg.
An elderly doctor was on hand to observe Liston’s technique.

For years, Harland Sanders carried the formula to his fried chicken tucked carefully away in the safest place he could think of … his head. And, he kept the recipe for the spice mixture … in his car’s glove compartment!

Our client’s head office is located in Toronto’s Yonge and Davisville area. This position will provide IT technical support to approximately 100 employees – across Canada. The successful candidate will ensure the company’s computer network runs smoothly. The role requires an individual who is very comfortable with “all things IT”.

Over and above the technical requirements of this position … our client is looking for someone with top-shelf people skills and the ability to “dumb-down” technical matters for employees who use technology but don’t necessarily understand how it all comes together!


  • Provide technical support to end users – across Canada … (in person or over the phone)
